Spectacle Reef Lt Straits Lk Huron This light is one-of-a-kind. it is a monolith like the Washington Monument. It is built of solid blocks to withstand the ice flows of Lake Huron. It makes a shoal in the shape of a pair of spectacles. I sprayed water on my palette and let it run onto the paper and let it dry. Then I picked out the light that I thought suited it. It came out very well don’t you think. All prints come with a brief history of the lighthouse and the artist.
