Welcome to the Art Classes at Michigan Lighthouse Art Gallery—a cozy creative space.

Led by watercolor artist Anita Saviko, our classes are designed for curious beginners, growing hobbyists, and experienced painters who want to deepen their skills in a relaxed, encouraging environment.

Whether you’re painting crashing waves, quiet harbors, or historic beacons, you’ll learn step-by-step techniques for:

• Building luminous watercolor layers

• Capturing light, reflections, and movement

• Composing stronger, more confident paintings

• Bringing your own stories and memories into your art

Our classes are intentionally small-group so Anita can give plenty of personal guidance, demos, and one-on-one feedback. You’ll leave each session with new techniques, a finished (or in-progress) painting, and the confidence to keep creating at home.
